About EXFM (formerly Fast Money Exchange)
EXFM is a licensed currency exchange service in Thailand, operating on Phuket under this name since Fast Money Exchange rebranded.
Who EXFM is
The company used to operate under the name Fast Money Exchange. The brand is now EXFM, but the business hasn't changed: it's a licensed currency exchange service in Thailand — not a general-purpose payment intermediary that handles any transaction under the sun.
Our licence
EXFM is regulated by the Bank of Thailand, the country's central financial authority. Our licence number is MC225670007.
In practice, that means every exchange goes through AML checks (anti-money laundering) and standard KYC identification. The baht you receive through EXFM is money that has been converted through an officially licensed channel, so Thai banks and financial-monitoring authorities accept it without the extra questions that can come with unlicensed, informal money changers.
What we do
